The former NWA World Television Title was officially referred to as the WCW World Television Title from January 1991 forward.  

"Z-Man" Tom Zenk is recognized as the first WCW Television Champion.

  6. Steve Austin defeated Barry Windham on 05/23/92 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to win the title for the 2nd time.
  7. Ricky Steamboat defeated Steve Austin on 09/02/92 at Clash of the Champions XX in Atlanta, Georgia to win the title.
  8. Scott Steiner defeated Ricky Steamboat on 09/29/92 in Columbus, Georgia to win the title.

  47. Scott Hall is awarded the title due to Steiner not being able to compete in the title match on 11/21/99 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
